About Us

The Woodstove Trading Company was established in 1975 when wood burning in this country was beginning to become popular. From a shop in Tunbridge Wells the company moved to the village of Marden where it grew and was brought by the Rhodes family. As the company continued to expand the business moved to its current location in Staplehurst.

In 1988 one of the current Partners went to work for the Rhodes and in 1991 purchased the company with her brother. The Woodstove Trading Company has always been a family business and in 2006 another member of the family joined as a partner and brought with him new and innovative ideas for both the current business and the way forward for the future. This foresight has involved the opening of a second showroom which has enabled us to increase the number of stoves available for our customers to see.

We as a company have seen the choice of stoves expand from a few stoves to dozens but we pride ourselves on supplying top quality products that are both efficient and long lasting and we provide a service to our customers that is the same whether you need a new piece of glass for an old stove or are purchasing the stove for the first time.
